I began my life in metalwork in 1996 when I joined the HND course in Design metals at Plymouth college of art and design.

   After passing this course I then completed a BA Hons degree in Applied arts, specializing in metalwork. 

   Once my studies had been finished I returned home to East Devon, near Lyme regis, where I still live today. I soon found work with an etablished local blacksmith, and have continued to work with him on project's ever since. I now work from my own forge in the village of Colyford, about a mile from my home.

   I think it is this combination of my understanding of the design process, blacksmithing technique and my love of creating modern, functional objects that gives the work I produce it's unique quality.

   This also means that when I am comissioned to work on whatever project you may have in mind, the result will always be tailored to your wishes and budget.
